5 DAYS TO GO - QUEDAN CINCO DIAS

Still preparing to undertake my first Camino. I finally have found today my MTB shoes´ covers.
I been really busy, doing nothing relevant but busy. Time goes by quick and still do not know whether I´m ready or not, but my equipment is.
5 days to go and some people are still asking me to explain why this challenge, why The Camino & why UK Cancer Research. Last time this afternoon when buying my shoes´ covers. Being Spanish but living in United Kingdom, fundraising for a British Organization but cycling in Spain, getting donations either in pound or euros, even writing simultaneously in both languages simply mess things up.
Some people just think The Camino is simply another way, path, bridleway, or cycling route, but it is not.  It does not matter the reason because pilgrims walk the Camino but they all agree on the fact that it changes your life. I do want that change, and I do want to help changing others´ lives.
We also need to think global. We live in a world with no borders. Today we are in Spain, tomorrow somewhere else. Research does not know about borders either.
Why the Camino & Why UK Cancer Research? Hard, very hard to answer. Fortunately an image worth a thousand words. I do hope that from now on my choice is more clear.

1. Why fundraising UK Cancer research:

2. Why The Camino:

We simply don´t choose a life, we live one. I want to live a life in which research beats cancer. It is time to think big, start small and expand fast!

Todavía me encuentro preparando mi Camino.

Ayudanos a hacerlo pronto.
